Macallan Double Cask 15 Year Old is a perfect partnership of Oloroso sherry seasoned American and European oak casks that together create the distinctive, warm character of this harmonious single malt. The delicate and indulgent flavours of American oak impart honey, citrus and chocolate. This is balanced with the core Macallan characteristics of rich fruits, sherry and woody spice.

It is the oak that makes the greatest contribution to the quality, natural colour and distinctive aromas and flavours at the heart of this single malt whisky. Only exceptional oak casks are sourced, crafted, toasted and seasoned under the watchful eye of The Macallan Master of Wood. Once filled, the maturing spirit remains undisturbed in the same cask for a full fifteen years.
